If you use your zip too much, the bottom part may tear, preventing the pull tab from engaging.

What should you do if this happens? Tilli explains it all!

The straw technique

Here's a super-fast technique that requires no skill.

Put some glue glue on the bottom of your zip, right where it's torn.

Cut
a small piece of straw, the same height as the tear, cut a slit and insert the straw into your zip. Press down so the glue works. And you're done!

Although
temporary, the straw technique will be perfect to tide you over!

Zip replacement kits

You'll also find various repair kits for your zips.

In the case of a tear, turn to kits containing
a case and sleeve.

Simple and quick, they'll allow you to repair your zip in just a few minutes and without any sewing.
