Throws are a much-coveted interior accessory.
They keep us warm on long winter evenings and come in many different forms.
We suggest you sew your own plaid with the scraps of fabric that are now cluttering up your cupboards.
Many of us have piles of fabrics in our cupboards, in the hope of using them one day. And sometimes, years go by without us ever really having taken the time to sort out and imagine a sewing project that allows us to use these pieces of fabric.
That's one of the reasons we exist. We're here to inspire you and help you with your creative projects, as long as they involve retouching or transforming your wardrobe and interiors.
Today, we suggest you gather all your fabric scraps and make a bespoke plaid, the original print of which will be your own story.
The idea is to gather all your fabric scraps and sort them. Depending on the materials and colours, we'll choose the fabrics best suited to the creation of this plaid, in order to achieve a general harmony throughout the creation.
We can imagine various sizes, depending on the length of fabric you have available.
Creating a made-to-measure throw is a responsible act because of the recycling of the materials that make it up, but it's also an opportunity to create a very personal object, whose story is our own.
For example, you could choose to use all the fabrics brought back from your travels, or all the fabrics (or clothes) that belonged to your children.
In other words, you choose the story you want to tell.
