World Recycling Day, let's repair fashion!
Today, 18 March, we celebrate World Recycling Day and take a look at the key figures. In 2022, France collected 260,403 tonnes of textiles and footwear. Although this figure increases every year, less than a quarter of used textiles are actually recycled. The majority is still thrown away, incinerated or landfilled, generating considerable pollution. Every year, France wastes €442 million on discarded clothes that could be repaired or reused. This waste represents a lost opportunity for the circular economy.Posted 10 months ago
