It's often the king of our wardrobe because it goes with every style and rarely makes a faux pas. It's the jeans, of course!
Declined in different forms, we could almost get lost in the choice of cut. Slim, skinny, bootcut, flare, mom, etc.
And just like other Trousers, jeans often require a few adjustments.
Whether it's the hem or even the waist, discover all the possible alterations here.
Hemming is undoubtedly The touch-up you won't be able to live without.
A hem at your waist will show off your legs and Trousers.
Depending on the style you want to achieve and the shoes you'll be wearing, your choice of hem will be different.
If you're in any doubt, don't hesitate to ask us. Our Tillistes have an eye for detail!
It's always easier to shorten material than to lengthen it. To do this, we'll cut or trim the original hem and readjust it to the desired height.
And if you want to lengthen the legs of your Trousers, you should know that we can add fabric inserts. This will add a new touch to your Trousers!
To adjust the size of your jeans, the tailor will need to rework the waistband with pliers and possibly take a look at the curvature of your butt.
We'll use the pliers on the back seam for an adjustment of less than 4cm. On the other hand, if the fit is greater than 4cm, the tailor will prefer to make different clips so as not to alter the cut and fall of the Trousers.
Whether they're in the crotch, thighs or buttocks, holes can be repaired in a variety of ways.
Small holes will prefer a clean seam while larger holes will certainly require a fabric insert such as a patch or patch.
You could also consider covering up the smaller holes with pretty embroidery. At Tilli, we're specialists.
