Have you found a great coat but it's a bit small?

Make your coat bigger with hems

Take stock of your coat and see how it was constructed.

Chances are that by unstitching the seams,
you'll discover hems that will allow you to add 1 to 2 centimetres to your coat and therefore gain in ease.

Then all you have to do is unstitch these hems and neatly close the seams.

Easy, isn't it?

Add pieces of fabric to enlarge your garment

If hems don't allow you to gain enough ease, you can add pieces of fabric to the sides, sleeves or even the bottom of your coat.

If you're lucky, you may be able to use the same fabric as your coat.

And if not, feel free to
mix styles and even materials. This will give a unique style to your coat and will undoubtedly give it a very singular touch.

It's an idea that top fashion designers haven't hesitated to exploit!
